Autumn is just around the corner... An opportunity to restore the essential harmony between body, mind and environment by turning to cultures and ways of life that are spiritually close to nature. Stretch, think positively, enjoy simple moments and discover what our environment offers us.  Revealing our wild, deep nature, freely and without inhibitions, doing what makes us happy... So many things that prompt us to refocus on the essential and on ourselves in a bohemian world. 


Cultivating positive thinking has benefits for our bodies 

Positive thinking benefits the body and mind. Cultivating a positive mindset is essential to pursuing your dreams and having confidence in yourself.  Above all, thinking positively helps to strengthen the immune system and protect the cardiovascular system. Indeed, thinking negatively leads to the development of negative emotions, which in turn weary the heart. Frustration, chronic stress and anger exhaust the nervous system and can lead to the deregulation of the cardiovascular system.  Positive thinking increases resistance to and improves the quality of your sleep. Repeating positive quotations leads to positive emotions that make us feel good. This virtuous circle helps to relax the mind and improve the depth of sleep.  

But how do you practise positive thinking? You can start by writing down in a small personal notebook, or in the notebook provided at the bottom of the article, an event, a quote, a positive thought every day to slowly get yourself into the habit of focusing on the positive. It only takes a little practice for it to become automatic and to become firmly rooted in us.  And as a bonus, the more optimistic you are, the more positive events you will attract!

Towards harmony between body, mind and environment 

In a society where we are sometimes confronted with episodes of stress and anxiety, where we sometimes feel overwhelmed, caught up in the intense rhythm of daily life, it is important to know how to take time for oneself, to listen to one's body, to take care of it and to feel good in one's environment. Knowing how to slow down sometimes allows you to start afresh and be more efficient and focused. The black fox offers a variety of relaxation techniques to relax your body and mind and become more in tune with your environment:

Mindfulness meditation : "To meditate is to let the wind clear the sky and reveal the blue horizon". This simple meditation technique consists of focusing on the present moment without judging the current experience. Kindness and letting go are the keywords of this technique which requires a degree of regularity (10 minutes per day is enough). But what is mindfulness? We are constantly doing or thinking about something else. When we do something, we are very often thinking about something else at the same time or even doing several things simultaneously. Mindfulness is a way of being anchored in the present moment, of synchronising your mind with your body. 

Feng shui : this practice harmonises the relationship between human beings and their environment; it can be assimilated into acupuncture of the habitat. If you are looking for relaxation and letting go in your home, feng shui is for you. The choice of colours in your rooms and their layout determine and promote the proper flow of energy in your home or your workplace and your garden too. Feng shui aims to achieve a positive influence of the space upon the people who occupy it. 

● Other techniques to harmonise the body and mind with its environment : the practice of yoga (a set of postures and breathing exercises aimed at bringing physical and mental well-being), or sophrology sessions (training the body and mind to develop serenity and well-being, based on relaxation techniques and activation of body and mind) are effective tools. Personal development is also a technique that is becoming more and more widespread in our society. It helps to develop self-confidence and self-esteem, improving one's quality of life and deep aspirations
