If you want to keep wearing your hat for as long as possible, nothing could be easier: keep it in a cool, dry place, away from any source of heat (heating, conservatory, direct sunshine/UV), and protected from humidity and dust! And for a spot of beauty treatment: soapy water, a wipe with a damp sponge inside and out, and it’s done! Oh yes, and by the way… For this hat, forget the washing machine and don’t even think about the iron.
